Privacy Policy

stardew.app is a fan-made Stardew Valley save tracker. It's built and run by two people, not a company, and we take what we collect from you seriously. This page explains what we gather, why we gather it, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
When you sign in with Discord, we receive your username, user ID, email address, and avatar from your Discord account. We use the email address to link your account across sign-in methods. When you link a save file, we store that save data so we can show your farm, progress, and stats back to you.
What we do with it
- Sign you in and keep you signed in
- Parse your save file and build your dashboard from it
- Keep the site running and fix problems when they come up
- Respond to you if you contact us with a question or issue
Cookies and analytics
We use a cookie to keep your session signed in, and lightweight, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages get used. That analytics data isn't tied to you individually, and we don't sell it to anyone. There is no advertising business behind this site.
Third parties
The one third party involved here is Discord, which we use for sign-in. Anything Discord does with your data once it's in their hands is governed by their own privacy policy, not ours.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and save data for as long as your account stays active. If you'd like it deleted, message us and we'll remove your account and everything tied to it.
Your rights
You're entitled to ask what we have on you, correct it, or have it deleted. Contact us and we'll take care of it.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone in that age group.
If this changes
If we make a meaningful change to how we handle your data, we'll update this page and revise the date at the top.
